Why is being licensed as a commercial pilot important?

It’s required by law for aerial pictures or footage to be used commercially!

Without a commercial license to operate a drone, or UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System), pictures or videos taken may only be used for hobby purposes and cannot be used for commercial or retail purposes. This is why I got my pilot’s license, so that I am able to capture photos and videos that you can use for your business or customers.
